The Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation is a charitable and educational organization, which is separate from the Fraternity. The mission of the foundation is to link collegians and alumnae with resources to help them reach their highest potential and make a difference in the world. This organization was created by Thetas to allow their sisters to achieve their dreams and goals. The foundation provides scholarships, grants, and programming.
- Scholarships: The Theta Foundation gives out about 200 scholarships totaling over $500,000 each year to both collegiate and alumnae Thetas for undergraduate and graduate studies.
- Grants: Educational and leadership grants totaling over $50,000 are given annually to help Thetas with making a difference in their own communities and around the globe
- Programs: In 2011 more than $400,000 in grant funding was given for chapter education, leadership development, and support for the Fraternity chapter and members. Examples include: GreekLifeEdu, Sisters Supporting Sisters, JobBound, and Fraternity Archives
